Dexter picked up its second straight win over NMMI on Tuesday, downing the host Colts in four sets at Godfrey Athletic Center on the campus of New Mexico Military Institute.

“I was proud of the way (my players) battled back in Game 4 and got the win. At this point, a win is a win,” said Demon coach Andy Luikens.

Hannah Manemann led Dexter with 11 kills and Nayely Anderson added eight kills. Ty Payne had five kills and three aces, Lindsey Black had three kills, Tamara Salas had 26 assists and five aces and Haley Norris had seven aces.

“It was the last game for our team this year and the last game for our seniors this year, so I really wanted it for them,” said NMMI coach Stephanie Schooley. “We did get a game from them, which in Dexter we lost in three, so I was proud of the girls for doing that.”
