Bronco Volleyball Signs Alex Hanus

Coach Shelby Fortchner and Assistant Coach Pam Grano welcome outside and right side hitter, Alex Hanus to the Bronco volleyball team for the 2012 season.  Alex is from Marian High School, in Omaha, Nebraska.  Hanus is 5’10” tall and has played on the club team Premier since 2003.  As a sixteen year old, her club team won the National Qualifying Tournament in St. Louis and went on to finish 11th at the USAV National Tournament in Reno, Nevada.  The next year, at seventeen, the Premier team won the National Qualifying Tournament in Kansas City and again went on to finish, even better, at 5th place in the USAV National Tournament in Atlanta, Georgia.  Hanus continued to play with Premier as an eighteen year old and was named Captain of the team that year.  Alex also has a GPA of 3.0 and will make a great asset to the Bronco team.  Congratulations to Alex on her graduation and joining the Bronco volleyball program.
