Bronco Men’s Tennis earns first wins in Abilene

The NMMI men’s tennis team played in Abilene TX over the weekend of the 7/8 Sept. It was an open tournament and there was plenty of action. All men played 4 doubles and 3 singles matches.

Luke Paeni and Chris Hargrove led the way. This pair won 2 of 4 doubles matches and 2 of 3 singles matches. Both Pedro Ruiz and Dylan McArthur ( Roswell High School) won their 1st college matches with a win in the singles competition. Team captain Oscar Hernandez also won a singles match.

The Broncos next play the 22 of Sept at University of Texas Permian Basis in Odessa TX.
