Early graduation for five Colts

Five members of the New Mexico Military Institute Colt baseball team participated in early graduation on Wednesday at Mabee Hall in Toles Learning Center. The Colt baseball team will be playing in the quarterfinals on Thursday at 10:00 AM at Cleveland High School.

The five graduates are:

Master Sergeant Jasper Lynn Best from Roswell, NM. Best plans to continue his education at NMMI.

First Sergeant Jorge Iruretagoyena Andueza from Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico. Iruretagoyena plans to continue his education at Pima Community College

Command Sergeant Major Jake Austin Leible from Roswell, NM. Leible plans to continue his education at Texas A&M University

First Sergeant Alejandro Lopez from Agua Prieta, Sonora, Mexico. Lopez plans to continue his education at NMMI.

Master Sergeant Gunnar William Schwab from Farmington, NM. Schwab plans to continue his education at NMMI.

Three out of the five graduates will continue their education at NMMI and the combined GPA out of the five cadets was a 3.2 average.

Graduation for all the rest of the cadet high school student body will be on Saturday, May 19th at 8:00 A.M. in the Pearson Auditorium.
