ATTENTION ALL CADETS PLANNING TO RETURN TO NMMI FOR SY 2018-2019

The NMMI Scholarship Committee is scheduled to meet mid-February to begin awarding scholarships for next school year.  There are many awards based on merit and just as many for need-based awarding.  There is not an application to complete; the committee works with an automated process which selects qualified applicants based on information collected through the NMMI database.  However, for prime consideration be sure to submit the need-analysis documentation.

To qualify for merit-based review in February you must have achieved at least a 2.5+ GPA and a “C” in deportment for the Fall 2017 term at NMMI.  Spring 2018 new cadets must have entered NMMI from your last school with at least a 2.5+ GPA.

Need-based review requires at least a 2.0+ GPA, and a “C” in deportment for the Fall 2017 term at NMMI.  Spring 2018 new cadets must have entered NMMI from your last school with at least a 2.0+ GPA. All cadets must submit the appropriate need-analysis documentation for need consideration.

NEW THIS YEAR:   If you are planning to return next year and would like to be considered for need-based awarding you must have a need analysis on file with the NMMI Financial Aid Office.  The proper documents are as follows:

If you will be enrolled full-time in 18-19 in the:

NMMI Junior College – The FAFSA must be on file.  Apply on-line at www.fafsa.ed.gov

NMMI High School – The SSS (School and Student Services) form is required.  Apply on-line at https://sssbynais.force.com/familyportal/familylogin.
